Blasting out of Harbin

Double heading was the rule for all freight trains heading south from Harbin. Double headed QJ-class 2-10-2's put on a show as they get underway from the huge freight yard in Harbin in far northern Heilongjiang Province of China. Photo taken in December 1987.
